Industrial robot arm in biomedical
application
The Motoman robot will join Beckman Coulter's own Orcar and Robotic Transport (BRT) offerings to give customers a choice of automation scalability
Beckman Coulter has announced the selection of the Motoman (a Yaskawa company) industrial robot arm for integration with the company's automated liquid handling, providing drug discovery/screening and sample preparation customers with an industrialised option for ultra-high throughput As the newest entry in Beckman Coulter's successful third-party integration programme, the Motoman robot, rail setup and software controls will be optimised for use with BiomekR FX or NX automated liquid handling systems
