Taken individually all the improvements could be seen as insignificant and, perhaps, difficult to spot, but when put together collectively Quartermaster 3 becomes the hygienic shelving package 'par excellence', it says.
Most importantly, a new metallic finish, developed specifically for the system's nylon coated shelf, is bonded to the base metal, guaranteeing no lift-off or possibility of rusting if cut - the nylon coating process is also new and unique to the UK.
If required, other shelf finishes can still be offered, as before.
Shelf supports are now of a simple fast fit snap together two-piece construction - for effortless and quicker assembly - and other tweaks such as tapered corners for a stronger and more rigid fit, design improvements incorporated into corner bosses and a more durable adjustable foot ensure Quartermaster 3 is, says the company, setting new standard for quality hygienic shelving.
Quartermaster 3 is manufactured to metric sizes and can be retrofitted to previous Quartermaster systems.
The price has not been increased and delivery in room lots is available from stock.
Alternatively, Bedford's installation service is available throughout the UK.
The company's free design service still applies for Quartermaster 3 - from site details layouts and estimates can be submitted for consideration - often within a few hours.
