Vacuum gauge sets the standard for miniaturisation

Beswick Engineering, which designs and manufactures high-performance miniature fluid power devices, announces the release of a miniature vacuum gauge.

It says this vacuum gauge sets the industry standard for miniaturisation.

It is provided with a dual scale for accurate indication of vacuum ranging from zero to -30inHG (zero to -76cmHG).

The dial diameter is 7/8 inch with an overall depth, front to back, of 1 7/64 inch.

The gauge employs a brass-geared movement which contributes to an accuracy specification of 3-2-3%.

Two threads are provided allowing the user a choice for fitting connections.

These threads are an external 1/8-27 NPT centre back brass external connection and a 10-32 UNF centre back internal connection.

The vacuum gauge saves space and is said to be ideal for use with Beswick's miniature vacuum regulators, valves and fittings.

Applications include hydrogen fuel cells, medical and dental equipment, instruments, laboratory equipment, ink jet print engines, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, toxic gas detectors, aerospace equipment, packaging machinery, industrial robots and many more.
