BFi Optilas announces the availability of the Retiga EXi, a high-sensitivity, low-noise, high-resolution digital CCD camera recently launched at the American Society for Cell Biology The Retiga EXi features improved performance over its predecessor the Retiga EX
The Retiga EXi offers better signal to noise, resulting in an image output with higher dynamic range.
Increased gain and improved flatness of the field facilitates the acquisition of images in low light applications.
The Retiga EXi also offers a colour CCD version of the camera not previously available.
In addition, a non-cooled version of both the monochrome and colour Retiga EXi is also available for those who do not require long integration times.
An upgrade for the EX to EXi is also available.
