Lumenera, a developer and manufacturer of high performance digital cameras and custom imaging solutions, is launching its new Lm family of cameras - a mini CCD USB 2.0 line aimed at industrial markets

The Lm165 model integrates the Sony ICX285 CCD sensor, 2/3inch, with 1392x1040 pixels, one of the world benchmark for very high sensivity.

This camera delivers outstanding image quality and value, and is ideal for applications with low light conditions and/or tight space constraints.

The Lm165 camera measures 44x44x56mm, offers 15 full frames per second, and includes such features as a new industrial locking USB and GPI/O connector, eight mounting points, electronic global shutter for capturing objects in high-speed motion, and on-board processing and sensitivity for outstanding image quality.

Higher frame rates are available at lower resolution, with full sub-window control and live focusing modes.

As with the entire line of Lumenera cameras, no frame grabber is required.

Both colour and monochrome product models are fully supported by the Lumenera software developer's kit with an application programming interface compatible with C++ and Visual Basic.
