Cytology funnels for Shandon Cytospin
centrifuge
Biomedical Polymers, a manufacturer of plastic products for the laboratory and medical specimen handling, has launched its cytology funnels for use with the Shandon CytoSpin centrifuge
Proven in laboratories worldwide, BMP cytology funnels are the functional equivalent of the Thermo Shandon CytoFunnel Fully compatible with the Shandon CytoSpin centrifuge, BMP cytology funnels can be used to deposit a thin layer of cells in a clearly defined area of a microscope slide
An integrated filter card absorbs any excess fluid.
Operation of BMP cytology funnels is identical to those supplied by Shandon.
Easy to follow instructions are included in each pack.
Stainless steel clips which hold the cytology funnels securely in place against the microscope slide during the centrifugation process, are also available.
BMP clips are similar in design to those previously provided by Shandon and will not rust during decontamination.
