BioTek Instruments will include its latest microplate instrumentation technology on its stand at Biotechnica 2007, 9-11 October in Hannover, Germany

BioTek Instruments will mark the international debut of the patent-pending Synergy 4 multi-detection microplate reader with hybrid technology, which it says is the only true multi-mode reader on the market to join filter-based and quadruple monochromator-based fluorescence detection technology in one instrument for endless flexibility in current and future microplate-based assays, at Biotechnica Fluorescence intensity, fluorescence polarisation, time-resolved fluorescence, luminescence and UV-visible absorbance measurement techniques are also included

The PowerWave microplate spectrophotometer will also be demonstrated.

BioTek has also launched a new liquid dispensing technology: the MicroFlo Select, an all-in-one dispenser with unlimited choice in microplate and microtube style, dispense parameters, cassette settings, all in one compact benchtop unit.

BioTek's Precision XS microplate sample processor will also be presented during the exhibition.

The popular ELx405 washers will be featured, along with the recently released ELx50 FMW, designed specifically for dispensing and washing filter bottom microplate applications.

Also at the trade fair will be the Bio-Stack automation modules that can be interfaced to various microplate technologies from BioTek Instruments for increased speed, flexibility and ease of operation.

Components are modular and easily reconfigured when experimental protocols change.
