Biotek announces spectrophotometer contest winner

Biotek Instruments has announced the winner of the 'Win a Free Epoch Multi-Volume Spectrophotometer System' contest.

Biotek's multi-sample system consists of the monochromator-based Epoch Microplate Spectrophotometer, controlled by Gen5 software, and the Take3 Multi-Volume Plate that measures up to 16 2uL samples, two Biocells, or a standard cuvette.

Laboratories are provided with a high-value solution for multiple users, multiple assays and preservation of precious nucleic-acid and protein samples by taking measurements in 2uL microspots, six- to 384-well microplates, or cuvettes.

The winner, chosen at random from over 700 qualified entrants from 69 countries, is Joel Tardivel-Lacombe from Institut National de la Sante et de la Recherche Medicale (Inserm), Luminy Campus in France.
