2006 dates for freeze-drying training

Three day course covers topics related to equipment and the processes and is relevant to those whose activities include pilot plant operation, formulation and process R and D, and quality assurance

Biopharma Technology (BTL) announces its 2006 course diary, with more fixtures than ever The company has been holding training courses in freeze drying technology around the world for six years, providing delegates with practical, up to date information on all aspects of freeze drying

All lecturers are currently active in the field, with over 50 years of experience between them.

Those involved in process engineering, quality assurance, pilot plant operation or formulation and process R and D, will appreciate just how vital the precise control of process conditions and correct formulation is.

Both small-scale and international companies have benefited from BTL's expertise in courses held around the world.

Due to increasing interest from at home and abroad, it has decided to schedule extra courses in 2006.

16-18 January 2006 - San Diego, USA.

6-8 February 2006 - Amsterdam, Netherlands.

22-24 May 2006 - Winchester, UK.

17-19 July 2006 - San Francisco, USA.

6-8 November 2006 - Winchester, UK.

This three day course covers a broad range of topics related to both the equipment and the processes and is relevant to those whose activities include process engineering, pilot plant operation, formulation and process R and D, and quality assurance.

The courses allow for interaction and discussion and include a workshop which allows delegates to discuss specific topics within the group.

Previous courses have been very well attended, with a lot of positive feedback received from attendees, says BTL.

The company is also finalising details for new courses in India.

India is already one of the world's key pharma and biotech marketplaces, and was therefore an obvious choice for a new location it says.

After an 'overwhelming' response to the initial idea, two courses are to be scheduled: one in Mumbai and one in Hyderabad.

The courses will follow a new format and will be held in mid-February.
