Jacketed beakers maintain sample temperature

A Bibby Scientific product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Mar 20, 2002

Pyrex beakers incorporating integral jacket through which temerature-controlling fluid is circulated are featured in new version of glassware catalogue

Featured for the first time in Bibby Sterilin's glassware catalogue, the high specification Pyrex jacketed beakers are ideal for maintaining samples at a constant temperature in the laboratory.

Renowned for its excellent thermal performance and resistance to chemical attack, Pyrex is the perfect material for the new beakers which are used to gently warm up or cool down temperature-sensitive chemicals.

A temperature controlling liquid is circulated through the integral jacket and, for added convenience, the inner chamber features distinct and easy to read graduations.

The jacketed or tempering beakers are available in four sizes, ranging from 250ml to 2 litres.

The new glassware catalogue is available free of charge from Bibby Sterilin.
