Digital hotplates at large

A Bibby Scientific product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Dec 5, 2002

Large digital hotplates are the ideal tools when it comes to heating multiple vessels, microscope slides, or microarrays under very closely controlled conditions

When it comes to heating multiple vessels, microscope slides, or microarrays under very closely controlled conditions, Bibby Sterilin's new Stuart large digital hotplates are the ideal tools for the job.

Using state of the art microprocessor technology, the SD300 and SD500 give unprecedented precision and uniformity of temperature across the whole of the aluminium plate so that wherever a sample is placed the conditions are identical.

Simple controls and a bright, easy to read digital display ensure that settings can always be reproduced easily and accurately.

For optimum user safety, an independent over-temperature protection system has been incorporated and a hot warning light will flash while the plate is above 70C, even if the hotplate has been switched off.
