The spotlight will be on Bibby Sterilin's Stuart science equipment products, particularly the stirrer hotplates range which is one of the most comprehensive available on today's market.

New models on show include chemically resistant ceramic top stirrer hotplates, available in two large sizes, and sophisticated metal top digital models with excellent temperature control for applications such as in-situ hybridisation, microarraying, and the fixing of microscope slides.

Bibby Sterilin has updated its successful SC5 colony counter.

The lightweight and portable SC6 has a new averaging facility which allows the counting of multiple plates and the automatic calculation of the average.

Amongst the many other new Stuart products on show are two new tube rotators, designed for life science applications.

The new easy to use SB2 model has a fixed speed, while the more advanced SB3 has variable speed control and a digital timer as standard.

Six types of tube holder are available for mixing a huge variety of vessels.

Bibby Sterilin will also be showing products from its other ranges, including Azlon durable reusable plastic labware, Pyrex containerware and Sterilin disposable plastics.

Bibby Sterilin is on the Barloworld Scientific stand, Hall 6.2 stand B11-C12, along with Techne, Jenway and Carbolite.
