Fast and accurate counting of bacteria and mould colonies on multiple plates, calculating the average colony count via the new built-in average count facility

Ideal for all microbiology applications, the new Stuart colony counter from Bibby Sterilin provides fast and accurate counting of bacteria and mould colonies.

With a digital readout of 0 to 999, the easy-to-use SC6 can count multiple plates, calculating the average colony count via the new built-in average count facility.

The SC6 features an adjustable pressure sensitive count system which responds to any probe or felt tip pen, providing an audible confirmation of each count.

Optimum viewing of colonies is aided by peripheral, glare-free illumination, with a choice of light or dark background.

A Wolffhuegel graticule, segmentation disc and centering adapter for 50-90mm dishes are all provided, and a magnifier is available as an optional extra.
