Pharma bottles are tops for safety

A Bibby Scientific product story

New range of pharmaceutical packaing features both tamper-evident and child-resistant closures on the same bottle

To make doubly sure that pharmaceutical products are supplied to the general public in the safest possible way, Azlon Packaging, a division of Bibby Sterilin, has launched a brand new range of plastic packaging bottles.

This new range features both tamper-evident and child-resistant closures on the same bottle.

Unlike many manufacturers which offer only one closure option per bottle, Azlon Packaging's two-pronged approach ensures that medicines, tablets, capsules or powders are not used inappropriately.

Customers can choose from a wide range of bottles in a selection of sizes, from 60 1000ml.

Options include a wide mouth child-resistant tablet bottle, with or without a tamper-evident band, and a sloped shoulder tamper-evident version with or without a child-resistant closure.

All of these designs are available in HDPE (high density polyethylene) which is FDA approved.

Catering for individual customer needs is a Bibby Sterilin speciality, and these new packaging bottles can be tailored to many styles and colours.

The bottles can be supplied printed or labelled, according to customer preference.
