Endotoxin free polystyrene containers developed to meet the needs of the growing healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, where quality and specification are essential

Manufacturer and supplier of high quality single use laboratory plastics, Sterilin has added a non-pyrogenic (endotoxin free) polystyrene container to its existing range.

With the exacting demands of today's scientist always in mind, Sterilin has developed the new container to meet the needs of the growing healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, where quality and specification are essential.

The containers are fully tested in Sterilin laboratories for the presence of harmful pyrogens (endotoxins), and certified non-pyrogenic to levels below 0.01EU/ml by use of the LAL test.

For customers required to undertake validation of containerware for pyrogens in house, this convenient solution represents significant savings in both time and money.

Gamma irradiated to ensure sterility, the containers are suitable for sample storage, formulation work, sterility testing and customers' own endotoxin testing.

Proof of non-pyrogenic conformance is provided by a batch-related certificate for each carton, and each container is CE marked to denote compliance with the latest In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Device Directive.

Six sizes are available from 7ml to 250ml, and to aid traceablity each carries a lot number and is packed in a carton bearing an expiry date to ensure use within its stated lifetime.
