The Stuart range of bench top shakers have been extended to include a high-speed vibrational shaker

The new SSM5 has a 1.5mm orbit and a maximum speed of 1250rpm, making it perfect for mixing small volumes, such as those found in 96 well microtitre plates.

The provision of a blue non slip mat means that it can mix a variety of different shaped plates, vessels or racks at anything from 250 to 1250rpm.

The shaker also incorporates an inbuilt digital timer and speed controller, as well as having optional accessory platforms for holding a variety of different sized microtubes - all designed for maximum flexibility.
