The Stuart SI500 orbital shaker and incubator provides separate digital controls for incubator temperature and shaking speed, both of which are displayed on easy to read LED control panels

Stuart, the benchtop equipment brand from Barloworld Scientific, has updated its popular shaker incubator range with a versatile new model, the SI500 orbital shaker and incubator, packed with useful features.

The incubator can operate between ambient +5C and 60C and the orbital shaker can be set between 30 and 300rpm.

The SI500 has an inbuilt timer that can run up to 9 days and a retractable platform that allows easy access to samples at the rear of the incubator.

A USB port also allows long term monitoring of the incubator temperature, overnight for example.

The SI500 has as standard a versatile clamping system which secures most sizes and mixtures of flasks.

Also available are four accessory tube racks to fit 15ml and 50ml microcentrifuge or 30ml universal tubes.

The racks are stainless steel and attach to the orbiting platform by patent pending Magnalock system to allow quick and easy coupling and decoupling of the racks without tools.
