Bio-Rad Laboratories announces the launch of Profinity Imac affinity chromatography resins for the purification of recombinant histidine tagged proteins.

Profinity Imac resins are based on the popular Unosphere beads which offer high capacity at high flow rates and are derivatised with iminodiacetic acid as the chelating ligand for divalent and trivalent metal ions.

The Profinity Imac resin is available in two forms: uncharged, and precharged with Ni2+, and is suitable for recombinant His-tagged protein purification using liquid chromatography instrumentation, gravity flow columns and spin columns.

Profinity Imac resins can be used under denaturing or non-denaturing conditions and are compatible with all reagents commonly used in the purification of recombinant histidine tagged proteins.
