The laboratory portal to everything QC

Bio-Rad Laboratories expands QCNet, its internet-based laboratory QC portal that provides online data management services, reference materials, educational tools, and product information

Bio-Rad Laboratories, a multinational manufacturer and distributor of life science research products and clinical diagnostics, has announced the latest expansion of QCNet, its internet-based laboratory QC portal that helps laboratories improve their quality control with a comprehensive offering of online data management services, reference materials, educational tools, and product information Version 4.0 enhances QCNet's offering with a new content management system that provides the latest industry news feeds, expert articles, reference materials, relevant product information and bulletins, continuing education courses, as well as an events calendar

Also included are links to renowned professional organisations and international QC content pages.

QCNet improves on the UnityWeb online data management service by allowing QC point data entry, in addition to summary data.

The point data are evaluated with a new range check and a Levey-Jennings analysis prior to submission to Bio-Rad's Unity interlaboratory programme.

UnityWeb now directly displays laboratory and worldwide interlaboratory reports in PDF format as well as on-demand from InstantQC.

A new WebConnect connectivity solution allows you to upload QC data directly from an LIS and/or instrument into Unity.

Bio-Rad's Unity interlaboratory programme helps laboratories meet Clia, CLSI (formerly NCCLS) and ISO 15189 recommendations by participating in a QC interlaboratory peer comparison programme.

Unity provides the most comprehensive set of QC peer reports comparing participating laboratories to the largest peer groups in the industry, says the company. Request a free brochure from Bio-Rad Laboratories ...
