Cofounder and chairman of Bio-Rad Laboratories was presented with the 2007 Pittcon Heritage Award in February during the annual Pittsburgh Conference on analytical chemistry and applied spectroscopy
Bio-Rad Laboratories reports that its cofounder and chairman of the board, David Schwartz, was presented with the 2007 Pittcon Heritage Award The award, jointly sponsored by Pittcon and the Chemical Heritage Foundation, recognises outstanding individuals in the scientific instrument and laboratory supplies community, whose entrepreneurial careers have shaped the instrumentation community, inspired achievement, promoted public understanding of the modern instrumentation sciences, and highlighted the role of analytical chemistry in world economics
