Multiplex assays for research into human
diabetes
Bio-Plex Pro assays are carried out on magnetic beads and reproducibly detect human disease biomarkers over the concentration ranges reported for normal and disease conditions.
Bio-Rad Laboratories has announced the release of new Bio-Plex Pro human disease assays that allow multiplex measurement of human diabetes (14 targets), angiogenesis (nine targets) and acute phase response (nine targets) biomarkers to help researchers understand the underlying causes of disease progression and help develop earlier diagnosis, better prevention measures and more effective therapies Multiple biomarkers in samples such as serum, plasma and culture supernatants are measured simultaneously on the Bio-Plex suspension array system where sophisticated analysis software produces a complete view of their expression profiles
