Degassing and debubbling means better measurements

The presence of bubbles and dissolved gases in liquids can lead to significant volumetric errors in a broad range of instrumentation and fluid dispensing devices

A new series of active debubblers and degassers that remove gases and combine high operating efficiency with low operating costs is now available.

The debubbler removes all bubbles in the fluid stream, thereby eliminating inaccurate detection measurements.

When the active debubbler is coupled with vacuum degassing, existing bubbles as well as dissolved gases are eliminated.

This combination prevents the formation of new bubbles by eliminating nucleation, the first step in bubble formation.

If a low internal volume is critical, the degassing operation can be performed in the transfer tubing.

The debubblers/degassers are available in a variety of sizes and the degassing membrane can be composed of either Teflon-AF or a membrane with chemical resistance properties similar to PTFE.

Similarly, the wetted materials can be either ETFE or Teflon-AF.

Online active debubbling helps equipment manufacturers improve dispense precision, reduce sample loss and reagent usage and improve analytical accuracy.
