Biotech consultant announces expansion
BioInformatics has announced three senior appointments to significantly expand its range of services to top executives in the biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries

Jim Brady was named the firm's senior science analyst.
Brady supports clients with his in-depth knowledge of modern biological laboratory techniques.

He has previously held research positions at the (US) National Institutes of Health, MetaMorphix, and Genetic Therapy.
He received his PhD from Indiana University and a BS in biology from the College of William and Mary.
Karen Gliwa has been named senior business analyst.
Gliwa is an experienced market research specialist whose previous positions at the QRC Division of Macro International and Hickman-Brown Research prepared her to design market research that supports real-world business situations.
Gliwa holds an MBA from the Yale University School of Management and a BA from Northwestern University.
Matthew Scherer was also named senior business analyst and brings a unique perspective to client assignments.
Scherer combines market analysis skills with hands-on laboratory experience.
He has held both business and scientific positions at Gene Logic, Claris Technologies and Schwarz Pharma.
He received his MBA from Georgetown University and a BS in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin.
