BMG Labtech enhances Omega microplate readers

BMG Labtech has announced that its Omega series of microplate readers are TR-fret and Alphascreen compatible.
The Omega series, including the Fluostar Omega and Polarstar Omega, features tandem technology, utilising high-speed UV/Vis spectrometer-based absorbance and ultra-sensitive filer-based detection in all measurement modes.
The multi-detection microplate readers are capable of reading absorbance, luminescence, fluorescence intensity, fluorescence polarisation and time-resolved fluorescence.
The Fluostar Omega and Polarstar Omega include an advanced assay technology package for more demanding applications including Alphascreen and TR-fret assays such as HTRF and Lanthascreen.
The Omega series has HTRF certification, Lanthascreen Certified Plus status and DLready certification.
