Compact vacuum pumping stations provide convenient, ready-to-use solutions for a wide range of research and development laboratory applications

The new modular 'plug and go' vacuum pumping stations from BOC Edwards offer a convenient, cost-effective solution for a wide range of research and development laboratory vacuum duties Featuring the company's dual purpose pump and gauge controller and a wide choice of pump combinations, the new TIC pumping stations are compact, functional and easy to use

BOC Edwards's pumping stations come complete with everything needed to create and control medium to high vacuum in the laboratory, including turbomolecular pump, backing pump, controller, built-in forced air cooling and a choice of accessories.

The equipment comes fully assembled on a single base plate, 380x500mm (70l/s pump) or 500x500mm (250l/s pump), allowing the user to simply attach their system to the flange provided and switch on.

The flexibility of the BOC Edwards's turbo and instrument controller (TIC) sets this new pumping package apart.

TIC does the job of two conventional vacuum system controllers, because it controls both the vacuum pumps and up to three active gauges.

As a result it offers space and cost savings over conventional pumping stations.

A wide range of pump and accessory options is available for the new pumping stations.

Backing pump options include diaphragm, rotary vane and scroll that can be combined with a choice of 70 or 250l/s turbomolecular pumps.

All the systems offer high vacuum performance; the dry (oil-free) options offer high performance with particularly low maintenance.

Further control functionality is provided by the Windows-based software supplied as standard with every TIC pumping station, for data logging, analysis and reporting.
