Spindles increase the shear rate measurement range of viscometers to permit lower rate shear tests to be performed on samples
Brookfield Engineering now offers more spindles for use with its Cap cone and plate viscometers These spindles increase the shear rate measurement range of the Brookfield Cap 1000+ and Cap 2000+ viscometers, offering a shear rate range from 10 sec-1 to 13,300 sec-1
The expanded range allows customers to perform lower shear rate tests on their products.
Typical test applications include architectural and automotive paints and personal care products like shampoos and conditioners.
The spindles are designed specifically for use with Brookfield 's Cap 1000+ and Cap 2000+ vscometers.
These viscometers are designed to test very small sample volumes (less than 1ml.
