Visible diode array spectrophotometer

A Biochrom product story

Instrument is said to be the first of its type offering sophisticated diode array technology at sensible prices

WPA, a Biochrom group company, presents the latest addition to its suite of instruments - the S1000 Spectrawave, visible spectrophotometer.

This uniquely designed instrument is the first of its type offering sophisticated diode array technology at sensible prices.

Descibed as simple to use and with fixed optics making it robust, the device is aimed at users in teaching, research and industrial quality control environments.

The user can work in absorbance or percentage transmission, and the instrument provides single wavelength measurement or instant spectral scans.

It has a large graphical display of scans, calibration curves, kinetic plots and methods, and may also be linked to printers or PCs for advanced applications.

Its menu driven software allows flexible functionality in five different languages, and up to 50 methods may easily be programmed into the instrument for specific uses.

Its small size and lightweight construction ensures that it is easy and safe to move whilst taking up little bench space.
