Range of competitively priced colorimeters and spectrophotometers offers quality, low cost instrumentation for the teaching laboratory and for many industrial applications

The range of very competitively priced colorimeters and spectrophotometers from WPA offers quality, low cost instrumentation for the teaching laboratory and for many industrial applications.

Different models match the needs of users ranging from secondary school science teaching to university research.

The CO7500 Colourwave is a rugged, portable and extremely versatile filter colorimeter designed for student use.

The CO7500 measures in absorbance, %T and kinetics mode at any of eight filter wavelengths and can download results to a data logger, chart recorder or PC.

A rechargeable battery-powered version gives complete mobility if needed.

When a visible spectrum is required, the choice would be the S1000 Spectrawave visible spectrophotometer, employing diode array optics to give virtually instantaneous scanning.

The optical system contains no moving parts, assuring ruggedness, reliability and a long, maintenance-free working life.

Wavelength scans, kinetics measurements or calibration graphs can be viewed on the large graphical display, and results can be printed directly or output to a PC.

Simple, menu-driven software and comprehensive method storage make the S1000 very easy to use.

For applications in the ultra-violet region, the S2000 Lightwave provides diode-array scanning from 200nm to 820nm and uses pulsed lamp technology to extend lamp life for extremely low running costs - and weighs only 4.5kg.

WPA is part of the Biochrom group of companies and has nearly 40 years experience of the educational market.
