Brookfield says it RS series of rheometers offers controlled rate/stress results at an affordable price.
Controlled shear stress and shear rate operation makes it easy to study material behaviour from initial yield to flow curve response (1 to 4800 reciprocal seconds).
Rheo2000 software offers programmed multi step control, detailed test data on viscolastic behaviour, mathematical models and more.
Brookfield RS series rheometers are available in coaxial cylinder, cone-plate or plate-plate geometries to suit most applications.
The RS soft solids tester uses vane spindle geometry which does not compromise sample structure is also available for difficult materials such as particulates, slurries or stiff pastes and foodstuffs.
Optional software is available for yield point, shear modulus, creep and relaxation studies using this configuration.
