Brookfield says its Cap2000+ range of cone and plate viscometers has proved a big hit with users in the paints, coatings, cosmetics and personal care industries, who have a large number of samples to process during the day or shift period These robust instruments are said to be easy to programme and simple to use
Just spot a sample onto the rapid response temperature plate, pull down the handle, gap setting is automatic, run the test and results are shown on the screen or relayed to a PC for data analysis.
Simply wipe clean and you are ready to run the next test.
With speeds of 5rpm to 1000rpm and temperatures from 50C to 2350C, plus a choice of torque ranges a wide range of shear rates and viscosities can be evaluated, simply, accurately and quickly.
