New premises to meet demand

A Labcold product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Dec 11, 2002

To meet rising customer demand for laboratory refrigerators, freezers and incubators, Borolabs is relocating from Aldermaston to larger premises in Basingstoke

The move also reflects recent success in the award of prestigious long term contracts to supply healthcare and laboratory markets.

From 1 December 2002, the premises in Basingstoke will become the company's new focal point, with all product design, manufacture, warehousing, service and office provisions housed under one roof.

The result will be cost savings through greater operational efficiency, and customers will see further improvements to an already comprehensive service provision.

For instance, enquiries will be dealt with quicker than ever before, and product turnaround times reduced.

Good transport links to and from the region will also mean faster delivery times.

Industries have entrusted their laboratory storage requirements to the company's Labcold refrigerators and freezers and Labheat incubators for many years.

This new expansion will help Borolabs meet increasing demand for these prestigious lines, and ultimately strengthen its position as the UK's leading manufacturer and supplier of temperature control solutions for the laboratory.
