New mass spectrometry methods for
microbe ID

Bruker Daltonics announces a southern California seminar on new mass spectrometry based methods for microbe identification and research in molecular diagnostics

Bruker Daltonics has announced an advanced breakfast seminar on new mass spectrometry based methods for microbe identification and research in molecular diagnostics The seminar will take place Monday 13 November 2006 from 8am to 11am in La Jolla, California

Scientists are invited to discover how mass spectrometry is advancing the state of the art in microbe identification and research in clinical diagnostics.

Electrospray ionisation (ESI) and matrix assisted laser desorption ionisation (Maldi) mass spectrometry are the basis of important new tools that allow the identification of microbes with little or no culture and with higher specificity.

These same tools with different sample preparation solutions are gaining popularity in biomarker research and discovery, as well as research in clinical diagnostics.

Scientists are invited to Bruker's free educational breakfast seminar to discover these new applications.

Registration is required beforehand to ensure seating. Request a free brochure from Bruker Daltonics ...
