Comprehensive package for the sugar industry offers up to date multi-channel, flow analysis systems with the choice of segmented flow analysis or flow injection analysis

Burkard Scientific has developed a compact and comprehensive package for the sugar industry This user friendly and versatile instrumentation can be used at all stages in the production and processing of the sugar crop with speed, accuracy and economy

Burkard Scientific offers the most up to date multi-channel, flow analysis systems with the choice of segmented flow analysis (SFA) or flow injection analysis (FIA), depending on the analysis to be undertaken and the speed required.

The Fiaflo 2000, which is based on colorimetric and UV detection, offers: fast and flexible analysis; two to six channel instruments; up to four simultaneous heated methods; easy interchange of chemistry manifolds; wide choice of detectors for maximum performance; and Burkard's MicroStream for windows data processing and control.

This state-of-the-art flow injection analyser offers the widest choice of analytical methods using the additional techniques of ion selective electrodes, chemiluminescence or fluorescence, and is therefore equally suitable for the small sample user in as well as for routine analysis work.

The modular SFA-2000 system has been professionally designed and constructed for ease of use in both small and large throughput laboratories.

The capacity to handle the widest range of methodologies and the capability to provide consistent high quality results is a feature of this modern segmented flow analyser which features: multi-channel simultaneous analysis; safe and reliable methodologies; fully automatic and results presentation; an expandable system; automatic start-up and shut down; advanced Windows computer software.

The Fiaflow 2000 and SFA-2000 are equipped to handle and operate a large number of methods including those for analysis of the nutrients and ions associated with soil fertility and plant nutrition and those chemicals of specific interest to the sugar processing industry.
