A Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics product story

Use of micro-volume technology ensures maximum operating efficiency for both sample and reagents in a range of settings from specialist paediatrics to general chemistry

Bayer Diagnostics has launched a range of seven therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) assays for use on the new Advia 2400 chemistry system.

Automated methods for carbamazepine, digoxin, gentamicin, phenytoin, phenobarbital, valproic acid and theophylline are now commercially available for the Advia 2400, giving users the opportunity to consolidate more of their workload on to this cost effective high throughput system without compromising routine turnaround or stat capability.

Processing up to 2400 tests per hour, the Advia 2400 now offers an extensive assay menu, but still makes available 62 of its 100 channels for user-defined applications.

Its use of micro-volume technology ensures maximum operating efficiency for both sample and reagents in a range of settings from specialist paediatrics to general chemistry.

Introduction of these TDM assays reflects Bayer's on-going commitment to method development for the Advia 2400 - a system which builds on the success of the established Advia 1650 analyser to achieve a significant step forward in productivity.
