Integrated slide maker/stainer for haematology

Advia Autoslide automatically processes up to 120 slides per hour, using clinically-relevant decision-making criteria which closely match those traditionally applied by laboratory staff

Advia Autoslide is a compact instrument designed to optimise productivity and streamline the processing of haematology requests in laboratories with moderate to high sample volume workloads.

It is available as a fully integrated option for the Advia 2120, without any need for a costly track connection.

The system's Smart sample facility allows reflex options to be easily set by users, encompassing ranges, morphology, patient demographics and flags so that the right results are obtained first time, every time.

Depending on individual laboratory practices, the system can be set to make slides on all or none of the samples as required.

Samples are only aspirated once the decision to make a slide has been made, thus conserving sample and minimising waste.

The aspirated volume is only 75ul per slide.

The Smart smear function can be adjusted for sample type, haematocrit or white blood cell count.

Carryover is completely eliminated by the use of tape which covers the smear wedge and advances with each slide.

The Smart stain function optimises microscopic morphology by providing high-quality, single-use reagents for each slide, together with user-definable stain protocols to accommodate individual preferences.
