Economy furnaces

Carbolite's latest ELF economy chamber furnaces have been designed to provide cost-effective heating for general laboratory work at temperatures up to 1100C

ELF furnaces, with chamber capacities of 6 and 14 litres, include several innovative design features, including the use of free-radiating coiled wire elements embedded in a vacuum-formed moulding made of low-thermal-mass insulation The elements are located on two sides of the chamber, which provides fast heat-up and cooling, together with good temperature uniformity and low energy usage

The hearth is made from hard-wearing dust-free ceramic brick, and the drop-down design of the door allows it to be used as a shelf when loading or unloading samples.

Power to the elements is automatically cut off when the door is opened.

Double-skin case construction keeps outer case temperatures low.

The furnaces are fitted with digital three-term controllers. Request a free brochure from Carbolite ...
