In-plate sample prep
Lab-in-a-Plate is a new device (patented technology and other patents pending) for the purification and sample-preparation of proteins, peptides, DNA, RNA and other biomolecules
The chromatographic media used in the Lab-in-a-Plate system are attached to the bottom of a well in a micro-titre plate (96, 384 or 1536 well format) thus allowing the sample to be dispensed or aspirated as with any micropipette or liquid handling system The flat-bottomed plates are manufactured from polystyrene or polypropylene and the binding capacity of these plates is said to be foive to ten times higher than normal Elisa plates
