Product offers simultaneous generation and measurement for accurate and easy transducer/calibration with accuracy figures as good as 0.03% on temperature or up to 0.01% on pressure (range dependent)

Calibration Dynamics announces the availability of a new easy to use portable multifunctional, multivariable calibrator for use on and off site Designated the Scandura B-20 it can perform an extensive variety of electrical simulations and measurements, as well as measuring temperature, vacuum and pressure evaluations

It is housed in a robust IP54 rated enclosure with integral lid and storage compartment.

This innovative product offers simultaneous generation and measurement for accurate and easy transducer/calibration with accuracy figures as good as 0.03% on temperature or up to 0.01% on pressure (range dependent).

The B-20 allows the following physical values to be measured and simulated: pressure, voltage, current, resistance and temperature by resistive probes, thermocouples and frequency signals.

This versatile product has a host of additional features including mA,V, mV, RTDs, TCs, Ohms, frequency pulse, upload and download of calibration procedures, and a pressure capability to 700bar.

Powered by rechargeable NiMH batteries and incorporating an easy to view large backlit high contrast graphic display, it has a storage capability to allow the editing of individual test reports either directly, or to a printer or PC.

Measuring 290x180x180mm and weighing only 6kg it is truly portable and can perform many of the functions achieved by a calibration laboratory, in the field.

Intrinsically safe models with the latest Atex approvals to EExia IIc T4 are available for use in hazardous areas.

This product has applications in the process, engineering, laboratory and manufacturing industries.
