As well as including a unique cleanliness index to quantify product/process changes, companies using the package also have access to troubleshooting facilities to help pinpoint and solve cleanliness issues, and to the use of specially designed test coupons (either 'off the shelf' or bespoke).
Tony Kinsella, managing director at CSMA, comments: "There is undoubtedly a climate of cleanliness in this country at present, due in part to public interest in issues such as MRSA.
"But that is not to say surface validation is restricted to medical and pharmaceutical professions.
"Any sector that has a service or product which relies on surface preparation is affected - a fact which has been reflected in the response we have had to Validata".
