GPCR signalling application software

A Cellomics Europe product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Apr 26, 2002

A proprietary multi-parameter software application for the analysis of sub cellular translocation of biomolecules of interest

GPCR signalling software from Cellomics is a versatile new application for the ArrayScan high content screening system.

The GPCR signalling application provides a powerful tool to analyse GPCRs at the individual cell level, providing researchers with novel information on the effect of modulators and inhibitors of this important class of pharmacological molecules.

The software enables the detection and quantification of fluorescently labelled target molecules at the cell membrane, within the nucleus and user-defined regions of the cytoplasm.

The new application utilises an enabling technology that provides the most comprehensive software solution for GPCR signalling studies, including details on the desensitisation pathway.

In addition to the analysis of the GPCR signalling and de-sensitisation pathway, the software application is highly flexible and is applicable to the study of numerous biological processes and targets.

The software application offers multiple levels of user interaction for assay optimisation to meet the needs of different biological targets.

It also provides multi-parametric outputs with a variety of reporting features.

The application is performed with the fully automated ArrayScan HCS system that measures and analyses these complex intracellular processes at the cellular level providing researchers with additional knowledge to make better decisions earlier in the drug discovery process.
