Chemical inventory system links to ChemWatch

A ChemSW product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Oct 11, 2006

ChemSW announced an agreement in April 2003 with ChemWatch, that enables users of CISPro to subscribe and link to the largest database of independently researched MSDS (materials safety data sheets)

Available in multiple languages, the ChemWatch database provides the most detailed information available on chemical hazards identification, first aid, first response, personal protective equipment, physical properties, toxicology and regulations.

Data is available for 40,000 pure substances and 75,000 mixtures.

"This connection streamlines the entire MSDS function for our users, providing instant access, on the fly," explains Brian stafford, President of ChemSW.

"This will replace significant resources that are otherwise required to maintain this information by the individual customer." "ChemSW is a well known company with a large customer base," commented Paul Ruez, vice president of marketing and business development for ChemWatch.

"This alliance will enable us to extend our services to a significant number of users in the United States".

ChemSW's CIS Pro was developed specifically for the management and tracking of laboratory chemicals in regulated environments.
