Record results buck industry trend

The figures represent yet another unprecedented performance for the group.
The results follow record profits between 2001 and 2002, when turnover reached ?15.3 million and operating profit went up by 70%.
ClinPhone Group is the largest and most experienced industry specialist in e-clinical trial management, having supported more than 720 clinical trials in over 80 countries and almost 70 languages.

Staff levels at all of the company's global offices have also increased due to greater demand.
In the first half of the current financial year, the workforce grew to more than 320 in total.
Around 80 operational and commercial staff now work in the USA, double the amount at the same point in 2001.
There are now three offices in the United States, with brand new premises in Princeton, and satellite operations serving clients in San Francisco and Chicago.
Management teams in the United States are also currently evaluating plans to bolster ClinPhone's West Coast office with more operational support.
A further technical facility has just been opened in Nottingham near to the company's headquarters, bringing the number of facilities in the UK to four and there are two central European facilities - in Brussels in Belgium and a new office in Heidelberg, Germany.
