Clinical technology company ClinPhone has added to its portfolio of clinical trial management services with its first licensable software product following the acquisition of US company TrialTrac ClinPhone has purchased TrialTrac and its TrialWorks system, an advanced clinical and regulatory data tracking software, which has gained a strong reputation among small and medium-sized biotech and pharma companies, primarily in the United States

TrialTrac's vice president of business development, Larry Linsey, commented: "TrialWorks is a 21 CFR 11 compliant, customisable, easy to use, richly featured clinical trials management software system.

The only operational changes are a relocation of staff from the Brooklyn NY office of TrialTrac to ClinPhone's US headquarters in Princeton NJ.
ClinPhone now plans to put the weight of its research and development team behind development of the software to provide new and existing clients with a range of additional features.
ClinPhone's global presence will also help expand TrialWorks's European client base.
ClinPhone's current portfolio of clinical trial management solutions can be fully integrated with existing commercial CTMS software packages, and it will continue to offer its clients this flexibility.
