Hotplates and stirrers save benchtop space

A Cleaver Scientific product story

A range of hotplates, stirrers and hotplate/stirrers with a compact, space-saving design are the latest additions to the expanding range of laboratory products available from Cleaver Scientific

Bench top space is at a premium in many laboratories, so these units are ideal for crowded bench tops or inside cabinets.

All three models feature an exceptionally durable, easy-to-clean, chemically resistant white ceramic work surface which provides a large work surface of 19x19cm, yet they require a small footprint of just 20x23cm.

Advanced microprocessor controls with convenient easy-turn knobs allow quick, precise adjustment along with maintenance of speed and temperature.

Safety indicator LEDs on the front panel indicate when the heating and/or stirring functions have been activated.

Thanks to their large square work surface, the units are compatible with a variety of popular sizes of borosilicate glass beakers, flasks, bottles and other commonly used vessels in the modern laboratory.

They are also ideal for use with electrophoresis systems supplied by Cleaver Scientific.

The stirrers provide a speed range of 60 to 1500rpm while the hotplate temperature range is ambient +5 to 380C.

The hotplate/magnetic stirrer model (CSL Hotplate) is supplied complete with a support rod for mounting thermometers and temperature probes.
