Moisture measurement system allows up to 300W of microwave energy to be effectively delivered directly to the sample for the fastest test times
CEM's Smart System 5 is a new concept in microwave moisture measurement, and exceeds the capabilities of any other system on the market today It uses a radical, patented design of microwave cavity that allows up to 300W of microwave energy to be effectively delivered directly to the sample for the fastest test times

The sample is continuously weighed during the drying process by the internal 50g balance module to ensure complete dryness and to prevent burning, with a built-in airshield controlling airflow in the cavity, providing a stable environment for accurate balance readings.
User friendly software provides help screens to guide the user through each test, with standard options including constant weight and time, fat, moisture, TS, TSS, TVSS, dilutions, and syringe weighing.
Up to 100 methods can be stored for each sample type, helping to eliminate operator error, and ensuring that identical conditions are used for the same sample types.
Up to 300 sample results may also be stored, and subsequently selected to perform a statistical analysis of the customer's process.
CEM's Intelli-Temp temperature feedback system displays a continuous temperature measurement of the sample during the drying cycle allowing the Smart System 5 to automatically adjust power settings based upon user-defined parameters.
This monitoring and control capability provides repeatable power conditions for every test, and allows the user to correlate with AOAC and other temperature based methods.
The built-in printer and splash-proof touch screen provide a clear display of all programmed and actual parameters.
