The kit can be used to ligate either blunt or cohesive ends making it ideal for a range of applications including shotgun library construction, cloning of blunt or cohesive end restriction fragments, PCR cloning, cDNA cloning and linker ligation.
Ligation using CloneDirect is fast, taking just five minutes for cohesive ends and 30 minutes for blunt ends.
