In vitro transcription kit
Kit is a powerful tool for scientists studying all aspects of transcriptional regulation, which has been linked to cell growth and development in all organisms
The company produces both recombinant proteins and native protein fractions from mammalian cells.
A rapidly expanding product range includes a unique catalogue of more than 150 general transcription factors, tumour suppressors and other cancer-related proteins.
Recent additions include: BRCA1, RNA polymerase II, and proto-oncogenes such as recombinant c-Fos, c-Jun and c-Myc.
Proteins are available in two formats - either as universal protein arrays (UPA) or as individual proteins.
The proprietary UPA format provides a rapid, convenient, reliable and quantitative method for analysing interactions and potentially new functions of both previously characterised and novel proteins.
UPA can also be used for screening new drugs for their binding affinity to specific proteins or to test various compounds for their ability to block binding of other molecules to proteins.
These products are available from Cambridge BioScience in the UK and Ireland only.
