Cambridge BioScience has announced it will distribute Stressgen Bioreagents products in the UK and Ireland
With key scientific areas including cell signalling and phosphorylation, Stessgen Bioreagents has more than 15 years' experience of developing tools for life science research A number of new ranges are now available including kits, antibodies and proteins for heat shock, apoptosis and oxidative stress studies
Heat shock proteins (Hsp) are ubiquitously expressed highly conserved molecular chaperones that are classified by their molecular masses.
Known for their cytoprotective functions, they also play an important role in immunity and recent studies show some members of the Hsp family are potent immunostimulators.
New products include the StressXpress Hsp70 Elisa kit for detection and quantitation of the Hsp70 protein in cell lysates, tissue extracts, serum and plasma.
