Version 8 boasts features that increase the efficiency and accuracy of logging samples and recording test results

Computing Solutions announces the release of LabSoft Lims v8 Version 8 boasts features that increase the efficiency and accuracy of logging samples and recording test results

"LabSoft Lims continues to evolve through R and D efforts and listening to our customers.

"We value the relationships with our customers and that drives our product support and development," said Ed Drone, senior software engineer at Computing Solutions.

"The enhanced functionality in version 8 is a direct result of customer requests".

LabSoft Lims v8 offers many important new features.

These include support of test plans: when logging a sample, the test plan suggests a pre-qualified group of tests to be included based on any property of the sample.

Enhanced instrument validation features provide advanced information on the validation of the instrument used to obtain the test results.

This allows the user to drill down on a process result and not only view the instrument that was used to obtain the result, but view a control chart of the actual validation (i.e standards) results.

Ability to store and use historical control limits in addition to the current control limits.

Plus many more features that further extend LabSoft Lims's functionality outside the lab in order to allow more use of lab quality data.
