Laser oscillator generates over 3Watts
of power
The Mira HP from Coherent is said to be the world's first ultrafast oscillator to deliver more than 3Watts of output power
Designed to be pumped by the Coherent V18 Verdi laser, this new ultrafast laser delivers higher power across the entire Ti:sapphire tuning curve, with dramatic increases toward the edges at 'difficult' wavelengths The increase in output power is even more significant when the Mira HP is used to pump a synchronous OPO to obtain widely tunable visible and infrared wavelengths
